Job summary

Avanti's is hiring Delivery Drivers to bring delicious meals to customers in the Peoria area. You will be the friendly face delivering hot orders and providing great service at the door.

We offer hourly pay starting at $10.50, flexible schedules, and meal discounts on days you work. A background check, valid driver's license, MVR, and Food Handler's Certification within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• Extremely friendly and polite.

• Knowledge of the Peoria area is preferred but not required.
• Food Handler's Certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Safely delivering food to customers in the area surrounding your home store.
• Follow delivery schedules.
• Communicate with customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle inspections.

What you will be doing:

• Safely delivering our food to customers in the area surrounding your home store.
• Follow delivery schedules
• Communicate with customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle inspections.

Who we are looking for:

Pre-employment Requirement:

• Must consent to a background check.
• Must be 19 years of age
• Must provide a MVR
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Must obtain a Food Handler's Certification within 30 days of employment

Physical Requirements:

• Be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
• Lift, load and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Work with hot and cold food items
