Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Nitro, WV seeks a Delivery Driver to load, deliver, and return goods with a focus on safety and customer service. The role uses a 20-24’ box truck and requires DOT compliance awareness.

Schedule is four days per week with 10-hour shifts, no weekends or overnights. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour, plus on-the-job training, benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for wage increases as you perform.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24’ box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.
