Job summary

Jasper Engines in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team. You will load, unload, and safely deliver goods using a 20-24' box truck, maintain a professional appearance, and uphold excellent customer service while adhering to DOT regulations.

The schedule is four 10-hour days with no weekends, and an overnight route once a week. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with regular wage reviews and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card.
• CDL is not required.
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.
