Job summary

Millennials With New Beginnings Logistics LLC, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner, is seeking a part-time Delivery Associate in Philadelphia, PA. You will deliver packages on time, drive safely, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include 21+ years old, US work eligibility, a valid driver's license (CDL not required), ability to lift 60 pounds, and weekend availability. Training is paid, with PTO offered as part of benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Have a valid driver’s license, no CDL required.
• Be comfortable with, and safe driving large commercial vans.
• Ability to operate and navigate a 10,000-pound van.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts around 10 hours.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 60 pounds each.
• Capable of entering and exiting a commercial van.
• Capable of moving up and down stairs.
• Must be able to work weekends.

• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle, follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions.
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; lift packages up to 60 lbs; walk up and down stairs as needed through the day to complete deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed.
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, clocking in/out, and communicating with supervisors.

Millennials With New Beginnings Logistics LLC is a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) looking for candidates to fill a part-time Delivery Associate position. We need reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment!

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. Successful delivery drivers enjoy being out on the road driving, put safety first, and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction.

• Military veterans are welcome!
• Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle, follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 60 lbs); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations; and walk up and down stairs as needed through the day to complete deliveries
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by management
