Job summary

Amazon in Springfield, VA is looking for dedicated delivery drivers responsible for safely operating delivery vehicles while ensuring timely package deliveries. Candidates must be customer obsessed and able to navigate various routes under different conditions.

This full-time position requires applicants to be at least 21 years old, pass a drug screening, and work flexible hours, including weekends. Compensation includes $21.00 per hour, health benefits, and paid time off.

Job description

Overview

• Company Vehicle Provided
• The hours start at 9:20am.
• Shifts are 10 hours per day and shifts are available 7 days per week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
• Use handheld devices for routing information, and customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions. Load and unload packages to be delivered
• Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED!! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.
• Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Able to get in and out of the van and walk up and down stairs through your shift
• Capable of working a flexible schedule
• Must accept text messages from Company managers and other authorized Company employees regarding your schedule, performance, and other Company matters on your personal cell phone
