Job summary

Heidelberg Distributing Company in Ohio is seeking a Delivery Driver to service our account base and territory with a focus on safe, timely deliveries of beer, wine, and spirits. You will work with a small team in a fast-paced beverage environment.

The role requires a valid driver's license, willingness to work 6AM–4PM Tuesday through Friday with possible overtime, and the ability to lift up to 165 lbs. Heidelberg offers medical and dental benefits after 90 days and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Valid standard Driver’s license; meet insurance requirements.
• CDL holders must pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Willing to work flexible shifts.
• Strong customer service skills; understand DOT rules.
• Positive attitude and good attendance.
• Fast-paced with strong work ethic.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Regular, consistent attendance.
• Able to lift up to 165 lbs and 25+ lbs repeatedly; climb into truck and stairs.
• Meet visual and physical requirements for warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Deliveries made in a safe and efficient manner.
• Communicate effectively with customers and fellow associates.
• Assist the warehouse as needed.
• Must understand safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and manuals.
• Secure company property at all times including cash, checks and company vehicle.
• Maintain a clean and effective workplace.
• Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.
