This position is responsible for delivering products to customers from Sherwin-Williams stores using box and flat-bed trucks. Drivers ensure deliveries are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer. Drivers are accountable for customer satisfaction and for transporting items in a safe, timely manner.

The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #1246, located at: 3143 E. Kemper Rd., Sharonville, OH 45241.

This position has a hiring pay of $17.00/hr.

Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has a review of criminal history to protect the business and its operations and reputation, and to ensure safety for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner.
2. Load customer orders properly on the truck.
3. Ensure appropriate forms are completed.
4. Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner.
5. Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair and servicing needs.
6. Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from customers.
7. Adhere to assigned routes and following time schedules.
8. Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
9. Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
10. Operate equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
11. Perform other tasks in the store, including warehouse duties, tinting, and mixing customer orders and waiting on customers.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a DOT-licensed examiner or be willing to obtain one within five business days of a conditional offer.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least one year experience as a delivery driver.
• Experience using material handling equipment.
• Previous experience selling paint and related products.
• Ability to communicate in more than one language, including Spanish.
