Job Summary

Eligible candidates will operate as delivery drivers, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment while supporting in‑store operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders within the designated service area using a company‑approved, insured vehicle.
• Navigate routes effectively, including multi‑story buildings and adverse terrain.
• Assist with in‑store tasks such as food preparation, inventory, telephone orders, and daily cleaning.
• Operate company equipment and perform regular equipment and facility cleaning.
• Communicate orders accurately over the phone, in person, and via written instructions.
• Maintain correct monetary change and handle cash accurately.
• Enter orders using computer keyboards or touch screens.
• Adhere to all safety and operational guidelines, including the periodic vehicle inspection.

Pay & Benefits

Essential Functions / Skills / Abilities

• Navigational ability to locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, bending, and reaching as required by the job.
• Ability to work alone and with others under stress while meeting quality control standards.

Work Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Exposure to varying weather, temperature extremes, fumes, dust, and cramped spaces.
• Typical tasks involve standing for most of the shift, walking on ceramic or tile surfaces, and occasional short‑distance walking.
• Employees may be required to lift, carry, push, pull, climb, stoop, bend, crouch, squat, reach, and perform repeated hand tasks.
• Standard lifting: bulk deliveries up to 50 pounds; frequent lifting of items up to 3 ft. long and 1.5 ft. wide.
• Standard carrying: cans (≈3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), trays of dough (≈12 lb each).

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with at least 2 years of driving history.
• Uninterrupted driving record: no more than one violation/at‑fault accident in the past 2 years, and no more than two violations/one accident in the past 3 years.
• No serious violations in the past 5 years; examples include drug/alcohol violations, leaving the scene, reckless driving, etc.
• Vehicle: insured, registered, and inspected for safety equipment (headlights, signals, tires, mirrors, brakes, etc.).
• Must be available for holiday and weekend work.
• Commitment to essential skill set and physical demands outlined above.
