Drivers will assemble, load, transport, and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and road safety. Delivery Drivers are polite and prompt with a commitment to providing our customers with an impressive experience. Candidates should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, committed to work and road safety, and passionate about satisfying clients.

Domino’s Delivery Driver Position Description

Drivers will assemble, load, transport, and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and road safety. Must have reliable, clean transportation with valid insurance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Domino’s Delivery Driver

1. Arrive on time, in complete uniform, with a clean vehicle and full tank of gas.
2. Wear a lit car top at all times during delivery.
3. Assemble all items in order, ensuring all extras are included.
4. Route orders to yourself within 1 minute of leaving the store using Pulse routing program.
5. Hustle safely to and from the store, vehicle, and customer’s door.
6. Transport hot items in proper heat bags and cold items in plastic bags.
7. Load all items in a clean, safe vehicle approved for delivery.
8. Drive safely, obeying all traffic laws.
9. Make stops only with permission.
10. Collect money from customers and provide correct change.
11. Collect signatures for card transactions.
12. Keep track of cash and receipts, ensuring they balance at shift end.
13. Use a drop box to keep cash in bank bag under $20; no money in vehicle.
14. Listen to and resolve customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries.
15. Keep driver area stocked, organized, neat, and clean.
16. Assist in cleaning and stocking storage areas.
17. Ensure the dining area is clean and stocked at close.
18. Check that heat bags are clean and intact.
19. Sweep and mop floors regularly, with nightly mopping required.
20. Wash dishes when no dishwasher is on shift.
21. Help cook food and work in the kitchen as backup.
22. Assist with taking phone, counter, or window orders as needed.
23. Perform general store cleaning.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Own reliable, clean transportation.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow a map.
• Pass criminal background and motor vehicle record checks.
• Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
• Ability to work with numbers and follow directions.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, proper uniform, and able to work swiftly with hustle.
• Effective communication skills.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is a plus but not required. Training is provided. A minimum of 2 years driving experience is required for those aged 18; 1 year for 19+. Customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Work Environment

The role involves serving many customers, driving long miles, and standing for extended periods. Frequent hand sanitization is required due to handling cash. The environment is warm, bustling, and noisy, with potential for injury from equipment.
