Job Title: Domino’s Delivery Driver

Domino’s Delivery Drivers provide excellent customer service while transporting customers' orders in a safe, timely manner. Responsibilities include assembling, loading, transporting, and dropping off orders while adhering to routes and road safety standards. Drivers are expected to be polite, prompt, and committed to providing an impressive customer experience. Candidates should ensure orders are fulfilled properly, demonstrate reliability, and prioritize road safety and customer satisfaction.

Position Description

Deliver hot and cold items in a safe and efficient manner, following assigned routes and safety protocols. Must have reliable transportation with valid insurance and maintain a clean vehicle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Arrive on time, in uniform, with a clean vehicle and full tank of gas.
2. Wear a lit car top during delivery.
3. Assemble orders accurately, including extras like dipping cups and sodas.
4. Route orders promptly using Pulse routing system.
5. Deliver orders safely, respecting traffic laws and company policies.
6. Collect payment and provide correct change; process credit/debit transactions.
7. Maintain accurate cash and receipt records, ensuring they balance at shift end.
8. Keep the driver area organized and clean.
9. Assist with store cleanliness, including cleaning dining and stock areas.
10. Ensure heat bags are clean and intact.
11. Perform general store cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping nightly.
12. Assist in the kitchen and with taking orders as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Reliable transportation, clean and well-maintained.
2. Ability to read maps and follow routes.
3. Pass criminal background and motor vehicle record checks.
4. Texas Food Handlers Certificate required.
5. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
6. Effective communication skills.
7. Ability to work on schedule, wear uniform, and work efficiently.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Prior driving or customer service experience is helpful but not necessary; training is provided. A minimum of 2 years driving experience for those 18+ and 1 year for 19+ is required.

Work Environment

The role involves driving many miles, standing for long periods, and working in a warm, bustling environment. Frequent hand sanitization is required due to handling cash and food. The environment includes conveyor ovens and warming shelves, which pose safety considerations.
