Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Waco, TX is seeking a Delivery Driver to bring our Cookie Magic to fans across the delivery radius. You will check orders for accuracy, deliver cookies, milk and ice cream, and provide top-notch customer service in person or by phone.

The role requires owning a car, a valid driver’s license, insurance, and a smartphone with data. Eligibility to work in the United States and being at least 18 are required.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate excellent time management and organization.
• Knowledge of the store's 2-mile delivery radius is a plus.
• Must have own car, valid license, registration and insurance.
• Must pass a motor vehicles background check.
• Must possess a smartphone with data plan.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.

Responsibilities

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver cookies, milk and ice cream to customers in a timely and safe fashion.
• Provide quality customer service in-person or by phone.
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app and provide accurate status updates to customers.

As a Car Delivery Driver at our Waco store located at 1508 Speight Ave Suite 130, Waco, TX 76706, you are our “Boots on the ground!”, and the main face that our Insomniacs see outside of the bakery! You give the word “Delivery” a whole new meaning by delivering the Cookie Magic to our fans wherever they are.

OUR DELIVERY DRIVER PERKS, COMP & SCHEDULE:

• Compensation: Guaranteed $8.50/hr minimum – up to $12.00/hr in earnings
• Schedule: Potential to work up to 30 hours per week

WHAT WILL I DO AS A DELIVERY DRIVER?

• Check orders for quality and accuracy before they leave the store.
• Deliver our cookies, milk and ice cream to our loyal fan base, in a timely and safe fashion.
• Provide quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers whether in-person or by phone.
• Use Insomnia’s delivery app to approved company standards and provide accurate status updates to customers.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of the 2-mile radius surrounding the store is a plus!
• Must have your own car, license, valid registration, and valid insurance
