Job summary

Nextran Corporation is hiring a Delivery Driver in Auburndale, FL to pull parts orders, deliver to customers, and ensure accuracy with invoices.

You will complete delivery paperwork, stock warehouse items, and perform other duties as assigned while operating in a fast-paced automotive parts network throughout the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and DOT medical requirements are mandatory.
• Must pass a driving test and maintain a Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Strong communication and basic math skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Pulls parts orders in the warehouse for delivery.
• Delivers parts to customers and verifies accuracy against invoices.
• Completes documents for delivery and payment of goods.
• Stocks items in the warehouse as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Duties

• Pulls parts orders in the warehouse for delivery
• Delivers parts to the customer and ensures accuracy by matching parts to the invoice
• Completes documentation necessary for the delivery and payment of goods
• Stock items in the warehouse as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license DOT physical and resulting Medical Examiners Certificate required
• Must pass a driving test
• Effective communication skills for relationship building with customers
• Basic math reading and ability to follow directions
• Forklift Pallet Jack and Manlift certifications will be required in the future; candidates must be willing to obtain and maintain these certifications as part of the role

Physical Demand

• Ability to remain seated while driving for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds independently
• Ability to push pull or maneuver items weighing up to 150 pounds using carts dollies or other assistive devices
• Ability to bend reach and handle parts during loading and unloading
• Ability to move throughout the warehouse and customer locations as needed
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments including exposure to weather conditions during deliveries

Parts Delivery Drivers spend much of the day in a delivery truck traveling to customer locations Work may involve warehouse environments customer facilities and outdoor conditions
