Job Duties
- Pulls parts orders in the warehouse for delivery
- Delivers parts to the customer and ensures accuracy by matching parts to the invoice
- Completes documentation necessary for the delivery and payment of goods
- Stock items in the warehouse as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license DOT physical and resulting Medical Examiners Certificate required
- Must pass a driving test
- Effective communication skills for relationship building with customers
- Basic math reading and ability to follow directions
- Forklift Pallet Jack and Manlift certifications will be required in the future; candidates must be willing to obtain and maintain these certifications as part of the role
Physical Demand
- Ability to remain seated while driving for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds independently
- Ability to push pull or maneuver items weighing up to 150 pounds using carts dollies or other assistive devices
- Ability to bend reach and handle parts during loading and unloading
- Ability to move throughout the warehouse and customer locations as needed
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments including exposure to weather conditions during deliveries
Parts Delivery Drivers spend much of the day in a delivery truck traveling to customer locations Work may involve warehouse environments customer facilities and outdoor conditions
