Job summary

Jimmy John's is seeking a delivery driver in Alabama to bring sandwiches to customers efficiently and courteously. You will navigate routes to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery, while maintaining a clean driving record and adherence to the dress code.

When not delivering, you may work as an in-shopper. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and the ability to handle phone orders with a smile, with compensation including base pay plus tips and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Weekend and/or night availability required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record.
• Dress code must be followed.
• Able to take phone orders for delivery and pickup.
• Occasionally bag orders to ensure all items are included.

Pay breakdown: Hourly base pay, plus mileage reimbursement, plus tips.

Jimmy John's Delivery Driver's goal is to get that sandwich in the customer's hand as quick as can be. We do this by learning the most efficient route, double checking orders to ensure everything is accounted for, and hustling on our feet (while always being safe and law abiding while on the street). Drivers take home cash everyday.

While not on the road, Drivers work as In shoppers and are compensated accordingly. Delivery is a customer service job, so following customer's request and doing it with a smile can lead to more successful days.

Requirements:

• MUST have weekend and/or night availability
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record
• Drive safe and obey the rules of the road
• Work as an in-shopper when there are no deliveries
• Adheres to the Jimmy John's Dress Code
• Must be able to take phone orders for delivery and pickup
• At times will need to bag delivery orders ensuring all requested products are included
