Job summary

Jimmy John's is seeking a Delivery Driver in the United States. The role emphasizes quick delivery, accuracy of orders, and safe driving, with additional responsibilities as an in-shopper when not delivering.

Weekend or night availability is required, and drivers can earn tips alongside base pay while enjoying employee discounts. Responsibilities include taking orders by phone, bagging items when needed, and adhering to a dress code.

Qualifications

• Must have weekend and/or night availability
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record
• Drive safe and obey the rules of the road
• Work as an in-shopper when there are no deliveries
• Adheres to the Jimmy John's Dress Code
• Must be able to take phone orders for delivery and pickup
• At times will need to bag delivery orders ensuring all requested products are included

Responsibilities

• Deliver sandwiches quickly to customers and ensure orders are accurate
• Learn the most efficient routes and double-check orders for completeness
• Hustle on foot while staying safe and law-abiding on the street
• Assist as an in-shopper when deliveries are not available, as needed

Pay breakdown: Hourly base pay, plus mileage reimbursement, plus tips.

Jimmy John's Delivery Driver's goal is to get that sandwich in the customer's hand as quick as can be. We do this by learning the most efficient route, double checking orders to ensure everything is accounted for, and hustling on our feet (while always being safe and law abiding while on the street). Drivers take home cash everyday.

While not on the road, Drivers work as In shoppers and are compensated accordingly. Delivery is a customer service job, so following customer's request and doing it with a smile can lead to more successful days.
