Responsibilities include timely deliveries, safe vehicle operation, and compliance with laws and policies. The role offers shift variety, weekend work, and opportunities for growth within a DSP.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening.
• Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report.
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing skills.
• Available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday).

Responsibilities

This is a Delivery Associate (DA) position with Ethos Fleet, LLC a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) delivering packages to Amazon customers! As a DSP, we are committed to meeting high standards for safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

We deliver from a local Amazon warehouse, DYY9, Syosset location.

Job Description

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift and lower packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; tilt, push and slide packages weighing between 50-70 lbs. on and off a hand truck without a helper on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
• Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
• Available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)

Additional Information

• 10-hour shifts are typical
• $24.50/ hour
• 3 to 4 - day workweek 35 to 40 hours is typical
• Schedule for Team Members is a rotation where team members should not work more than 3 to 4consecutive days, allowing for more personal time; drivers typically are required to work at least one weekend day.
• Expect daytime shift with future potential to work 2nd shift if desired
• A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break
