Responsibilities: As a Delivery Driver, you will transport and deliver office supplies to customers on your assigned route, possibly loading your truck depending on volume. Safety is our top priority; you will ensure safe work practices and foster our safety culture. You will organize and load products, optimize delivery routes, support customers through problem-solving, handle product returns, and represent our brand on wheels. Your role is vital to the success of Staples' supply chain operations.

Qualifications:

• Safe and courteous driving skills, capable of navigating various weather and road conditions.
• Sound decision-making abilities related to driving, parking, safety, and customer interactions.
• Inclusive approach to colleagues and customers, fostering collaboration.
• Proficiency with GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery devices.
• Vehicle maintenance, including pre-trip inspections and reporting concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Obtain a 6-month DOT medical card.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Willingness to work additional hours and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, push/pull up to 400 lbs with assistance, and maneuver up to 130 lbs.
• At least 21 years old.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1-year truck driving experience with a 16ft or longer truck.
• Experience with high-volume package delivery.
