Job Description

• Transports materials over designated routes, ensuring safe operation of vehicles.
• Provides excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries.
• Ensures loaded materials match the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest, and are secured for transport.
• Unloads materials at delivery locations, verifying correctness based on the Ship Ticket.
• Performs daily vehicle inspections for maintenance and safety.
• Handles warehouse functions including receiving, storing, shipping, and preparing products for delivery, maintaining order in the warehouse.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Candidates must undergo pre-employment drug testing. The test screens for various substances following HHS and SAMHSA standards. Medical marijuana is not recognized as a valid medical explanation for THC positivity under USDOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with Android or iOS operating systems.
• Valid driver’s license with at least three (3) years of driving experience.
• Satisfactory motor vehicle record with no major violations in the past three years.
• At least one (1) year of experience operating a commercial vehicle with GVWR of 10,001 lbs. or more within the last 36 months.
• Strong reading, writing, basic calculations, data entry, reasoning, and analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and accurately manage tasks in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Must meet FMCSA physical qualifications for motor vehicle operation.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environmental factors.
• Frequent walking, bending, squatting, climbing, and kneeling.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifts up to 75 pounds.
