Job summary

Best-One Retreading in St. Louis is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver to operate a box truck under 26,000 pounds and service daily routes with a focus on customer satisfaction.

You will pick up, deliver, unload, and assist with shipping/receiving, while maintaining safety and accurate delivery records. Starting pay is $21+ per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Valid class E driver's license with a safe driving history.
• Must be able to obtain at DOT medical card.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Some distribution supply experience preferred.
• Some computer skills preferred, data entry skills a plus.
• Commitment to service beyond the expectations of our customers.
• Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• Ability to read and complete instructions.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.
• Lifting: Frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck less than 26,000 pounds. (CDL not required)
• Picking up, driving, delivering, and unloading per daily designated routes.
• Customer service – deliver product, unload product, accept payments, record check # or other payment method on invoice, take customer complaints.
• Monitor the need for maintenance or major repairs by completing the Pre & Post Trip Inspection checklist for each trip.
• Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with company operational policies, procedures, and standards.
• Interface with shipping and receiving personnel to ensure timely deliveries, including pulling orders, receiving and putting away product.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Best-One Retreading is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver at our St. Louis location. If you enjoy being on the road, working with customers, and staying active throughout the day, this could be a great fit for you. You’ll safely operate a box truck under 26,000 pounds while picking up, delivering, and unloading products along designated routes. You’ll also assist with shipping and receiving, help maintain accurate delivery records, and provide excellent customer service at every stop. Starting pay is $21+ per hour based on experience and qualifications. A valid Class E driver’s license with a safe driving history is required, and candidates must be able to obtain a DOT medical card.
