Job summary

Industrial Supply in Utah is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Associate to manage Vendor-Managed Inventory functions, oversee customer replenishment, and organize material storage.

You will work closely with sales teams to meet customer needs, provide professional service, and maintain delivery vehicles and stocking areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in warehouse operations or delivery.
• Strong understanding of warehouse functions and processes.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Experience with industrial supply order entry and processing.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Professional appearance, attitude and strong customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Gather and process orders using barcode scanning, vending systems, and other methods.
• Load and deliver orders to customer locations in a timely and efficient manner.
• Replenish customer inventory at designated locations, including bin stocking and vending machine restocking.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-labeled stocking area at customer sites.
• Collect signatures from customers as proof of delivery.
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Work closely with inside sales teams to ensure accurate order processing and adherence to inventory management procedures.
• Maintain and manage the VMI delivery vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition and properly stocked for deliveries.

• Delivery experience, with a proven track record of timely and accurate service.
• Clean motor vehicle record and valid driver's license.
• Professional appearance, attitude, and demeanor in all interactions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and assist customers.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform tasks both sitting and standing, depending on the work environment (office or industrial) and customer/equipment location.
• May require lifting and transporting equipment, either in a delivery vehicle or personal vehicle, as part of the job duties.
