Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Nuclear Pharmacy Driver to deliver radiopharmaceuticals to medical care providers on an assigned route. The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and comfort with a handheld tablet for order scanning and navigation.

Base pay is $19.50 per hour with benefits from day one. The position may include weekends, overtime, and variable shifts to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable driving day and night in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Proficient with computers/tablets for order scanning and navigation.
• Willing to work weekends, overtime, and variable shifts as needed.
• Basic reading/writing in English.
• May require vendor credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals to customer accounts on the assigned route (non-CDL).
• Package radiopharmaceuticals for shipment, perform testing, and load/unload containers.
• Scan orders with handheld tablet to verify accuracy and obtain route information.
• Process packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintain vehicles and perform minor roadside repairs.
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Shift/Schedule

• 37 hours per week
• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 4:00AM to 12:30PM
• Sunday 3:00AM to 8:00AM
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to lift and manageup to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing
