Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Nuclear Pharmacy Driver to deliver radiopharmaceuticals to medical facilities on an assigned route. Role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and proper handling of sensitive materials.

You will scan orders with a handheld tablet, load/unload containers, and maintain vehicle readiness. Will be required to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in a nuclear environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to drive in all weather conditions and on day/night shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and stay mobile for long periods.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and rotating shifts.
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment and using a tablet for orders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceutical medications to customer accounts on the assigned route using a company vehicle.
• Package radiopharmaceuticals for shipment and load/unload containers.
• Scan orders with a handheld tablet to confirm accuracy and route details.
• Process returned packages from customer locations.
• Maintain vehicle condition and perform minor roadside repairs as needed.
• Support general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Shift/Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday 2AM to 10:30AM
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to lift and manage up to 80 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
