Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver's license and insurance with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a delivery role, preferably involving food.
• Demonstrated history of dependability in previous employment.
• Proficient in using GPS and other navigation tools.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items and standing/walking for extended periods.
• Strong customer service orientation to represent Rudy's BBQ professionally.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport BBQ dishes to various locations.
• Ensure timely delivery of BBQ to maintain freshness.
• Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle.
• Assist in loading and unloading BBQ items.
• Represent the company with professionalism and courtesy.

Rudy's Country Store & Bar-B-Q is seeking a dependable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our dedicated team in San Antonio. As a crucial link between our commissary kitchen and our local restaurants, you will ensure that our freshly prepared BBQ reaches its destination promptly and in perfect condition. This role is vital for maintaining the quality and service standards that Rudy's BBQ is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

Safe Transportation: Safely transport BBQ dishes from our commissary kitchen to various Rudy's locations across San Antonio, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Timeliness and Efficiency: Ensure all deliveries are made on schedule, maintaining the freshness and quality of our BBQ during transit.

Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, reporting any issues or maintenance needs promptly.

Inventory Management: Assist in loading and unloading BBQ items, ensuring accurate counts and careful handling to prevent damage or loss.

Customer Service: Represent Rudy's BBQ with professionalism and courtesy during deliveries, fostering positive relationships with our restaurant teams.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License and Insurance: Possess a valid driver's license and insurance with a clean driving record, no tickets or accidents for the last two years.

Experience in Delivery: Previous experience in a delivery role, preferably involving food or perishable items.

Reliability: Demonstrated history of dependability in previous employment, with the ability to work independently. Must complete a driver safety course certification within first week.

Navigation Skills: Proficient in using GPS and other navigation tools to find the most efficient delivery routes.

Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy items, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Customer Service Orientation: Friendly and professional demeanor, with a commitment to contributing to a positive team environment.
