Safety

• Road Safety: The delivery driver will understand and obey all DOT & traffic laws and operate heavy equipment in a controlled manner to ensure safety for all on the road.
• Property Safety: The driver will treat company and customer property with care, documenting and communicating maintenance issues via checklists and to dispatch.
• Product Safety: Handling valuable inventory requires diligence to keep products clean, safe, and properly contained.

Communication

• The driver will effectively communicate delivery plans, route changes, issues, and road conditions to dispatch and respond promptly to requests and questions.

Teamwork and Flexibility

• Expected to be a team player, assisting colleagues as needed.
• Willing to "slip seat" with other drivers, work various vehicle types, and adapt to a shifting schedule.

Appearance and Equipment Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and personal presentation.

Delivery and Customer Service

• Deliver to designated locations, unload using appropriate equipment, and fulfill customer orders efficiently.

Product Handling

• Receive, operate forklifts, and fill pails, drums, and totes as instructed.

Order and Inventory Management

• Ensure timely customer pickups and deliveries, assist with inventory counts, and participate in special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL B license with the ability to obtain hazmat and tanker endorsements after employment.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
