Chick-fil-A Research Row in Rockville, MD seeks part-time delivery drivers with excellent people skills and urgency to keep service on the road. Pay starts at $18/hr with tips up to $22/hr; must have your own vehicle and be 21 or older.

Gas reimbursement and tip earnings add to total compensation. Key duties include brand representation, safe driving, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining clean, efficient delivery operations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid smartphone with data plan and GPS.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Able to carry delivery totes (approximately 5-40 lbs).
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Previous delivery or professional driver experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent Chick-fil-A as a brand ambassador by embracing and demonstrating our values and our culture at the highest level at all times.
• Execute safe driving practices when operating delivery vehicles for meal deliveries with a sense of urgency.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by protecting and upholding our brand as you attend to customer concerns on a delivery.
• Maintain operational excellence in vehicles and delivery area, including cleanliness and speed.
• Meet with supervisor on shift to receive duties for the current shift.
• Complete the Driver Training Program.
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code.
• Other duties as assigned.

Drivers must be reliable, prompt, and professional and maintain Chick-fil-A's high standard of guest satisfaction at all times.

• Gas will be reimbursed at the end of your shift

Primary duties and responsibilities

1. Represent Chick-fil-A as a brand ambassador by embracing and demonstrating our values and our culture at the highest level at all times.

2. Execute safe driving practices when operating delivery vehicles for meal deliveries with a sense of urgency.

3. Ensure customer satisfaction by always protecting and upholding our brand as you attend to customer concerns as they arise on a delivery.

4. Maintain Operational Excellence in vehicles and delivery assembly area. Cleanliness, speed, accuracy, taste of food, and attentive & courteous always

5. Meet with supervisor on shift to receive specific position and duty(s) on the current shift

6. Complete the Driver Training Program.

7. Always adhere to Chick-fil-a rules and dress code.

8. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Must have a working smartphone with a data plan, GPS, and space to download the Bringg app.

• Must have a valid state-issued driver's license and at least 2 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.

• Must be 21 years or older.

• Ability to carry delivery tote bags. (approximately 5-40 Lbs.)

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

• Must be able to bend over, twist, reach above shoulder level, stoop or crouch, kneel, stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.

• Previous delivery or professional driver experience is preferred, but not required.
