Job summary

RC Willey in Reno, NV is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to safely deliver furniture, appliances and other products to customers’ homes, providing superior service and resolving delivery issues on the spot. You will operate a box truck, inspect items before loading, and ensure safe handling of large merchandise.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver license and good driving history.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs.
• DOT Medical Card required within 90 days of employment.
• Able to work as part of a team and independently to meet goals.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Previous delivery or warehousing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck or other Company vehicle
• Inspect merchandise for damage before loading item for delivery
• Examine and inspect merchandise for any damage and defects
• Safely maneuver heavy and awkward merchandise
• Provide outstanding customer service when delivering merchandise
• Resolve problems encountered during deliveries
• All other duties as assigned
