Job description

In this role, you will be involved in dock-to-dock moves across the SMSC, including supporting our Water Bottling area. Enjoy weekly pay, 401k starting day one, and health benefits. Job Overview:

This role involves moving around the campus and collaborating with other team members by completing regular deliveries for Tribal Operations departments and enterprises, including off-property deliveries. Tasks may include monitoring properties for debris, participating in winter snow removal and maintenance, and serving as a traffic control team member during summer events.

Create Your Path: The Work You’ll Do:
  • Complete regular deliveries and non-regular moves for non-gaming enterprises, including off-property orders. Assist Gaming Enterprise departments with dock-to-dock moves if needed.
  • Maintain outside areas by removing debris from parking lots, garages, landscaped areas, and ensuring trash liners are changed.
  • Perform snow plowing, salting, and snow removal in parking areas, sidewalks, and roadways using appropriate vehicles and equipment. Driving is a key part of this role, and adherence to SMSC driving standards is required.
  • Provide traffic control during special events by placing and removing signs, cones, and barricades.
Job Requirements:
  • Valid Class D driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • At least two years of outside maintenance and/or landscape experience, including familiarity with small-engine equipment such as snow blowers or lawn mowers.
  • Ability to operate a forklift or snow removal equipment, or willingness to complete training within the first 90 days.
  • DOT Medical Certification card may be required.
  • Ability to work in diverse climate conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
  • Proficiency in maintaining safety while handling fumes, chemicals, odors, and noise.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing for 75% of the time, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to perform motions such as bending, squatting, crawling, kneeling, twisting, pulling, and pushing.
