Job summary

DPI Staffing is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to serve our client, a family-owned business in the Portland metro area. This temp-to-hire opportunity requires operating a 22–26 ft. box truck and delivering heavy restaurant equipment with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualified candidates will have a valid license, clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Training and benefits offered after placement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a 22–26 ft. box truck.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to adapt and make sound decisions throughout the workday.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 22–26 ft. box truck to deliver restaurant equipment to customer locations.
• Load, unload, and transport heavy products using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow all company safety procedures and traffic laws at all times.

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Pay: Starting at $22.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Occasional OT)

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 22–26 ft. box truck to deliver restaurant equipment to customer locations
• Load, unload, and transport heavy products using proper lifting techniques and equipment
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time deliveries
