Jimmy John's Delivery Driver's goal is to get that sandwich in the customer's hand as quickly as possible. We do this by learning the most efficient routes, double-checking orders to ensure everything is correct, and hustling on our feet while always being safe and law-abiding. Drivers take home cash every day!

While not on the road, Drivers work as In-shoppers and are compensated accordingly. Delivery is a customer service role, so following customer requests and doing it with a smile can lead to more successful days.

We have been a leading Jimmy Johns Franchisee for over 15 years with 12 locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. We offer significant opportunities for full-time employment and advancement for dedicated, hard-working employees. A majority of our store and corporate leadership started as part-time delivery drivers or in-shop! Drivers start between $7.80 - $8.80 per hour, averaging $20-$25 per hour including tips and DMR.

Essential Functions Include

1. Takes telephone orders and completes delivery tickets courteously and promptly.
2. Accepts payment from customers for orders.
3. Works with management at shift end to reconcile cash from delivery sales.
4. Works as an in-shopper when no deliveries are scheduled, preparing sandwiches quickly and accurately.
5. Follows all portion sizes, recipes, systems, and procedures.
6. Must pass a sandwich test at the end of the first 2 weeks and during future testing.
7. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant, including tables, floors, windows, beverage station, and restrooms.
8. Greets customers, takes orders, operates the cash register, collects payments, and makes change.
9. Provides genuine greetings and farewells to customers.
10. Completes systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity.
11. Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with the dress code.
12. Displays a positive attitude and enthusiasm in all tasks.
13. Must be at least 18 years old.
14. Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.
15. Must have at least 2 years of driving experience.
16. Drives safely and obeys all traffic laws within the delivery area.
