Job summary

Aaron's is hiring a Delivery Driver to support in-store and community deliveries. The role includes driving, installing, moving, and demonstrating merchandise, with time spent both inside and outside the store.

You will help with day-to-day operations and connect with customers to ensure satisfaction. The job offers an hourly pay range, plus benefits such as paid time off, insurance options, retirement plans, and employee assistance.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• DOT certification may be required in location (US only).
• Ability to work a schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. alone and up to 300 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions.

Delivery Driver

The pay range for this role is $14.25 to $15.00 per hour.*

Aaron's Delivery Drivers are an integral part of ensuring positive customer experiences. This fast-paced, store-based role includes driving, installing, moving, and picking up merchandise, as well as demonstrating how customers can use their products. You'll spend time inside and outside the store, support the team with day-to-day operations, and connect with customers in the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Stage, load, and appropriately secure products, and safely operate the company vehicle.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age for positions within the United States and at least 18 years of age in Canada.


• Requires a valid driver's license and compliance with the Company's Driver Qualification Policy, including satisfactory driving record.


• Must be able to be DOT certified, if required in location of position (United States Only).


• Ability to work a schedule with hours varying from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another associate.


• Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience moving household furnishings and appliances.


• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
