Job summary

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for full-time non-CDL delivery drivers in West Chester, OH. You will load furniture, deliver to customers' homes or offices, and assemble furniture, ensuring a positive customer experience.

You'll drive a 26-foot box truck, review routes with the team, and handle unloading, delivery, and installation. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 100+ pounds and pass FMCSA and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year driving a 24-ft box truck or larger.
• Must be able to lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
• Valid DOT medical certificate and FMCSA compliance.
• English language ability per FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Start day at the warehouse with the operations team to review route and safety topics.
• Drive a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate to customers' homes or offices.
• Unload, deliver, and install furniture; interact with customers.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed, including loading/unloading furniture.

Overview

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for full-time non-CDL drivers in West Chester, OH!

The Delivery Driver works collaboratively as part of the Operations team. You will be responsible for loading furniture and delivering safely to customers’ homes or office spaces. You will also be assembling furniture for the customer and going above and beyond to ensure a positive customer experience.

Pay

$22 / hour

Schedule

Standard is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm; some flexibility or overtime may be required

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 21 years of age or older
• Valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency
• A minimum of 1 year professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle
• Physically able and willing to move furniture indoors, outdoors, up or down stairs and in all weather conditions; ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner
• Ability to comply with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration regulations
  • Per FMSCA Regulations: Drivers must read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
• Ability to maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate, which includes passing a physical and drug screening
• Ability to successfully pass a road test based on FMCSA/CORT requirements
• Acceptable MVR per CORT’s Safe Driving Standards
