Job summary

Chick-fil-A is hiring a part-time Delivery Driver in the United States, Texas. The role offers $12 per hour plus tips with shifts from 11am-3pm and 3pm-8pm, and the possibility of working one or both shifts.

Duties include brand representation, safe driving, and helping with front-of-house tasks when not delivering. Ideal candidates are 18+ with at least six months of driving experience, a valid Texas license, a smartphone with data and GPS, and the ability to pass DMV checks.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must have at least 6 months of driving experience.
• Delivery experience preferred.
• Must have a working smartphone with a data plan and GPS.
• Must have a valid TX driver's license.
• DMV checks will be recurring for all drivers and driving record must be free of disqualifiers.

Responsibilities

• Represent Chick-fil-A as a brand ambassador with a caring, guest-focused approach.
• Drive safely and efficiently for meal deliveries with a sense of urgency.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by upholding our brand during delivery interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and speed in delivery operations and vehicle interior.
• Meet with supervisor on shift to receive duties for the current shift.
• Assist Front of House operations when not on deliveries.
• Follow Chick-fil-A dress code and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

As a delivery driver, you will be a member of the Chick-fil-A Rufe Snow family and will help uphold our high standards of presentation, service, and care. The ideal candidate must be able to execute Chick-fil-A hospitality with our guests in a caring way. Clear and excellent communication skills via our delivery app are paramount to help us continue to meet our guests' expectations outside of the restaurant.

Position Details:

• Part-time
• Pay: $12 / hr + tips
• Shift Times: 11am-3pm & 3pm-8pm (can work either shift or both combined)
• Shift times may change based on weather or unique circumstances (holiday hours, etc)

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Represent Chick-fil-A as a brand ambassador by embracing and demonstrating our values and our culture at the highest level at all times
• Execute safe driving best practices when operating delivery vehicles for meal deliveries with a sense of urgency
• Ensure customer satisfaction by protecting and upholding our brand at all times as you attend to customer concerns as they arise on a delivery
• Maintain operational excellence in vehicles and delivery assembly area (cleanliness, speed and accuracy, taste of food, and attentive & courteous) at all times
• Meet with supervisor on shift to receive specific position and duty(s) on current shift
• Help out with Front of House restaurant operations when not on deliveries
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old
• Must have at least 6 months of driving experience
• Delivery experience preferred
• Must have a working smartphone with a data plan and GPS
• Must have a valid TX driver's license
• Ability to carry delivery tote bags
• Must clear a DMV check of their driving record. Disqualifying findings from DMV check would be DUI/DWI, excessive moving violations/tickets/accidents, suspended driver license. DMV checks will be recurring for all drivers and driving record must continue to be free of these disqualifiers.
• Telemetric monitoring of inside and outside of vehicles (camera and sound monitoring) will be in place. This monitors driving habits of drivers and reports unsafe driving practices.
• Chick-fil-A will provide a vehicle to use for the majority of deliveries, but there may be occasions where an employee would have to use their own vehicle (would be told about this in advance)
• There will be a performance evaluation after 30 days of employment
