Chick-fil-A in Statesville, NC is seeking a delivery driver who will also assist in the dining room when not on the road. You will uphold our hospitality standards, communicate clearly via the delivery app, and represent the Chick-fil-A brand with pride.

No experience is required; the role offers a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with opportunities for leadership development, flexible scheduling, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Must have a working smartphone with a data plan and GPS.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver's license.
• Ability to carry delivery tote bags (approximately 50 lbs).
• Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check.
• Must have good customer service.
• Available anytime from 6:00AM to 5:00PM.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals and catering to guests in a safe manner while representing Chick-fil-A outside the restaurant.
• Work in the restaurant to assist team members and leadership during down time.
• Maintain a fast-paced, high-energy environment with excellent service.
• Provide friendly, eye contact communication and engaging conversations with guests.
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times.
• Execute safe driving practices when operating delivery vehicles with urgency.

Job description

Delivery drivers are generally offered as either part time or full time. This role is a dual position of driving and also working in our dining room when not on the road. You will be a member of the Chick-fil-A family and will help uphold our high standards of presentation, service, and care. The ideal candidate must be able to execute Chick-fil-A hospitality with our guests in a caring way. Clear and excellent communication skills via our delivery app are paramount to help us continue to meet our guest's expectations outside of the Restaurant.

Your Role on Our Team:

• All delivery drivers use Chick-fil-A Vehicles that are equipped with a GPS camera system for both rear facing and front facing views.
• Maintenance and gas for the Chick-fil-A Vehicles is provided by the Owner/Operator.
• Deliver meals and catering to guests upon request in a safe manner while representing the Chick-fil-A Brand outside the restaurant.
• Work in the restaurant to assist our team members and leadership with tasks during down time, such as restocking, serving and more.
• Work in a fast paced, high energy environment
• Providing excellent customer service by looking guests in the eye, smiling, and engaging in encouraging conversations
• Represent Chick-fil-A as a brand ambassador by embracing and demonstrating our values and our culture at the highest level at all times
• Execute safe driving best practices when operating delivery vehicles for meal deliveries with a sense of urgency
• Ensure customer satisfaction by protecting and upholding our brand at all times as you attend to customer concerns as they arise on a delivery
• Maintain Operational Excellence in vehicles and delivery assembly area (cleanliness, speed and accuracy, taste of food, and attentive & courteous) at all times
• Meet with supervisor on shift to receive specific position and duty(s) on current shift
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned
