About the Delivery Driver Position

DGA Security Systems is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic and hardworking Delivery Driver to join our team of professionals. As a Delivery Driver your primarily focus is on getting the right parts, tools and equipment to the right locations at the right time. As well as engaging with our employees and customers throughout the day.

The ideal Delivery Driver will have a passion for delivering customer care on an everyday basis, and must also have excellent driving aptitude.

What You Will Be Doing

• Drive throughout the NYC metropolitan area utilizing maps and directions.
• Maintain a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.
• Lift merchandise up to 60 lbs. for deliveries.
• Inspect, protect and maintain company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building and people.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

• General knowledge of the Metro NYC with prior experience driving in Manhattan especially.
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 60 lbs. with the agility to bend to floor-level shelves and reach to upper shelves (eight feet) with use of stool or ladder when necessary.
• Strong communication skills as you will be interaction with your field and warehouse co-workers and customers daily.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check including DMV check.
• High School Diploma or GED
