Job description

• Deliver Materials to customer location with a company vehicle
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Open bales, crates and other containers.
• Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed manually. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Prepare material for distribution and other entities.
• On occasion, deliver materials intrastate to other company stores as needed.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Always organize delivery vehicles and work areas for orderliness.
• Responsible for off-loading, put-away, picking and staging of equipment and parts while providing professional quality customer service.
• Wear the proper safety equipment.
• Forklift operation for various tasks, including maintenance.
• Refuel vehicles in accordance with vehicle specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Following the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck
• Obtaining client or customer signatures when needed

Compensation for this role is set at an hourly starting rate $17
