CORT USA in Kalamazoo, MI is hiring full-time non-CDL Delivery Drivers. You will load furniture, deliver to customers’ homes or offices, and assemble items while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 7am–3pm with some overtime. Earn $19–$22 per hour, weekly pay, and participate in benefits, including health insurance, a 401(k), paid time off, disability and life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license in state of residency.
• 3+ months of professional experience driving a 24-ft box truck or larger; 1 year preferred.
• Must be physically able to move furniture and lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
• Ability to comply with FMCSA regulations.
• Must maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate and pass drug screening.
• Must pass FMCSA/CORT road test.

Responsibilities

• Review route and safety topics with the operations team.
• Drive a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate to deliveries.
• Unload, deliver, and install furniture and interact with customers.
• Assist in warehouse loading/unloading as needed.

Overview

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for full-time non-CDL drivers in Kalamazoo, MI!

The Delivery Driver works collaboratively as part of the Operations team. You will be responsible for loading furniture and delivering safely to customers’ homes or office spaces. You will also be assembling furniture for the customer and going above and beyond to ensure a positive customer experience.

Pay

$19- $22 per hour depending on experience.

Schedule

Standard is Monday-Friday 7am-3pm; some flexibility or overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Start your day at our warehouse where you’ll meet to review your route, safety topics, and more with the operations team
• Drive a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate to customers’ homes or offices
• Unload, deliver, and install furniture while interacting with customers
• Assist in the warehouse as needed; this may require loading and unloading furniture

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 21 years of age or older
• Valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency
• A minimum of 3 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle; 1 year of experience preferred
• Physically able and willing to move furniture indoors, outdoors, up or down stairs and in all weather conditions; ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner
• Ability to comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations
• Ability to maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate, which includes passing a physical and drug screening
• Ability to successfully pass a road test based on FMCSA/CORT requirements
• Acceptable MVR per CORT’s Safe Driving Standards
