Job summary

JM Test Systems LLC in Mattoon, IL is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to support our logistics operations. You will pick up and deliver equipment, verify orders, and communicate with customers and the internal team to keep operations moving smoothly.

The role involves driving routes, maintaining safety standards, and providing friendly service on customer sites. It may include early starts, longer days, and occasional overnight travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous professional driving, delivery, logistics, warehouse, or fleet experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily route with minimal supervision.
• Dependent, organized and adaptable to schedule changes and customer needs.
• Ability to lift and handle items up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with early start times, extended days, and occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily pickup and delivery routes within the assigned territory.
• Safely load, secure, transport and unload equipment.
• Verify equipment, quantities, paperwork and customer information at each stop.
• Obtain signatures and complete proof-of-delivery documentation.
• Communicate route changes, delays and issues to logistics team.
• Provide professional service while representing JM Test Systems at customer locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
• Follow safety requirements, fleet policies, and DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Use company systems and mobile apps to manage routes and documentation.

JM Test Systems is looking for a dependable, safety-focused DeliveryDriver to support our customers and logistics operations in the Mattoon, IL area.

This is more than just a driving position. Our drivers are an important connection between JM Test Systems and our customers. You’ll be responsible for safely picking up and delivering customer and company equipment, ensuring orders are accurate, communicating with customers and our internal logistics team, and helping keep our operations moving.

What You’ll Do

• Completedaily pickup and delivery routes throughout the assigned territory
• Safelyload, secure, transport, and unload company and customer equipment

What We’re Looking For

Driver Requirements

Because this is a safety-sensitive driving position,candidates must meet the following requirements at the time of hire:

• Be atleast 25 years old
• Possessa valid driver's licence from your state of legal residence thatauthorizes operation of vehicles or combinations with a GVWR of 10,001–26,001lbs. A standard personal-use driver's licence is not sufficient to this position.
• Possessand maintain a current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
• MeetJM Test Systems' Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements
• Meetapplicable DOT/FMCSA and company driver qualification requirements
• Participatein required drug and alcohol testing programs
