Culligan Total Water in Madison, WI is seeking a full-time delivery driver for the day shift. You will deliver water and salt, operate a large vehicle, and keep logs and equipment in good order for efficient daily routes.

This employee-owned company offers benefits including 401(k), health/dental insurance, paid time off, and disability coverage. Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

Customer service experience required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to read a map and navigate the service area.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
High School Equivalency required.
Willingness to lift up to 80 pounds and handle heavy loads.
Experience driving a large service vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver water and salt to customers.
Practice safe driving and follow safety procedures.
Check equipment for proper operation and report problems.
Communicate with customers regarding delivery.
Map the delivery and update instructions for efficiency.
Maintain shop and inventory.
Load, organize and manage truck inventory.
Use handheld computer to record transactions.
Prepare daily logs of activity.
Drive a large delivery vehicle.
Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.

Job description

Culligan Total Water is looking for a full time delivery driver for our Madison, WI location. This is an excellent, full-time opportunity to become part of our Employee Owned Company. This is a first shift position with hours of 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities Include

Delivery of water and salt to customers.
Practicing safe driving and following safety procedures.
Checking equipment for proper operation and reporting any problems.
Communicating with customers regarding their delivery.
Mapping the delivery, updating delivery instructions to ensure efficiencies.
Maintaining shop and inventory.
Loading, organizing and managing truck inventory.
Using a handheld computer to record transactions.
Preparing daily logs of activity.
Driving a large delivery vehicle.
Maintaining the cleanliness of your vehicle

Experience And Job Requirements

Customer service experience required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated experience and ability to work independently without supervision.
Technical experience and mechanical aptitude a plus.
Delivery experience helpful with experience driving a large service vehicle preferred.
Knowledge of the geographic area helpful.
Ability to read a map.
High School Equivalency required.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Physical requirements for this position are considered heavy with the ability to lift 80 pounds and to move 250 pounds assisted.
