Job description

Joey is currently recruiting pickup truck, cargo/sprinter van, and box truck owners to make local deliveries within the Joey Driver app. We are often referred to as the Uber or DoorDash for personal items and purchases. Driving with Joey offers some pretty cool perks.

What to Expect Driving with Joey

1. Access to available local delivery requests.
2. Freedom to choose your deliveries.
3. Schedule deliveries at mutually convenient times.
4. Be your own boss with flexible hours. Work when you want, whether for extra cash or as your main income source.
5. Drivers are paid weekly on Tuesdays as 1099 contractors.
6. Live phone and text support for questions or issues.
7. Common deliveries include furniture, DIY projects, auction pickups, small packages, donations, and storage moves.

Driver Pay

Drivers are paid based on vehicle type and delivery duration. All deliveries (except Courier) have a minimum of 1 hour pay, regardless of actual time. Courier deliveries have a minimum of 30 minutes.

Example: A customer needs a sprinter van to deliver a lounge chair. The delivery takes 36 minutes. The driver earns the minimum $45 plus tips (drivers keep 100% of tips).

How to Get Started

1. Download the Joey Driver app and register.
2. Receive a call once registered.
3. Complete background and Motor Vehicle report.
4. Verify required items at getjoey.com/items.
5. Non-courier drivers need a dolly, ratchet straps, and moving blankets. Joey will reimburse these after 25 drives.
6. Most drivers are verified and can start driving within 3-5 business days, depending on background check clearance.
