Qualifications

• Clean driving record and minimum 1 year driving experience.
• Comfortable driving a cargo van.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Strong understanding of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and drive a cargo van safely.
• Sort, organize, and check orders for delivery.
• Keep vehicle clean and report any issues.
• Assist in packing daily production.

Belle’s is a delicatessen and bar in the close-knit community of Highland Park. We're steadfast on making great food, and love spinning new-ish takes on Jewish classics. We’re slinging bagels daily, and soon much more!

Who are you?

You're responsible, consistent, organized, and comfortable with early shifts (6am). You're self-motivated, punctual, and able to work independently.

• Safely loading, unloading, and driving a cargo van comfortably and with confidence.
• Sorting,organizing and checking, and loading orders for delivery.
• Keeping vehicle clean, including unloading vehicle at the end of the work day, and reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
• Keeping inconsistent communication through the day to managers and / or owners.
• Communicating any quality or order discrepancies as needed.
• Assist in packing daily production with a sense of urgency and care.
• Work calmly and professionally withwithin a small team, sometimes in high-stress situations

Requirements :

• Must have a clean driving record and a minimum of 1 year driving experience
• Comfortability driving a cargo van (no CDL required).
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Strong time management skills and punctuality
• Strong understanding and prioritization of food safety
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred
