Job summary

Fresh Kitchen + Juice Bar is hiring a delivery/warehouse driver in Los Angeles to inspect trucks, secure cargo, and handle pickups and deliveries. The role requires basic mechanical knowledge, GPS familiarity, and a valid CA CDL.

You’ll coordinate with supervisors and assist warehouse staff in a fast-paced open environment. Ideal candidates read and speak English, have a high school education, and understand state transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid California Driver’s License – Class A or B.
• Competent driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• High School Education preferred.
• Knowledge of state transport regulations.
• Knowledge of GPS technology.
• Electric forklift and pallet jack experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on trucks before loading goods.
• Report any equipment in the truck inoperable or missing.
• Monitor loading and unloading of goods.
• Inventory and inspect goods to determine quantities and conditions.
• Ensure that cargo is well secured.
• Pickup and deliver goods as required.
• Maintains radio or telephone contact with supervisor to receive instructions.
• Assist warehouse staff as required.
• Clean trucks as required.
• Maintain a log of activities, vehicle condition and any accidents; document and report the facts.
• Daily handover: record deliveries, pick-ups, and reports.

Job description

• Maintain a log of their activities, condition of the vehicle and any cases of accidents, document and report the facts.
• At the end of shift handover records of deliveries, pick-ups, daily reports, mechanical problems, etc.

Physical Demands:

• Required to stand or drive for long periods of time
• May involve some repetitive motions
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling.
• Do to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.
