Opportunity: Delivery Driver

We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves working with the distribution team to increase profitability and customer satisfaction by ensuring complete, accurate, and timely deliveries. The Delivery Driver will represent Richelieu professionally, safely, and in compliance with DOT and other regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver orders efficiently to meet established time frames and customer needs.
  2. Prepare the truck by loading products, securing items, and verifying shipping documents.
  3. Inspect the truck regularly to ensure safety and performance, including tires, lights, brakes, and fluids.
  4. Maintain communication with the company during deliveries for updated instructions.
  5. Document deliveries and receipts accurately, reporting discrepancies as needed.
  6. Monitor and maintain truck maintenance records and driving documentation.
  7. Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
  8. Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely when required.
  9. Perform warehouse and counter duties as assigned.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures and follow safety regulations.
  11. Collect customer feedback and resolve service issues to enhance satisfaction.
  12. Maintain proficiency with computerized systems and technology.
  13. Work hours are Monday through Friday; position involves lifting items over 50 pounds and working around fumes or chemicals.
Qualifications
  • Good driving record; no CDL license required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and dedicated.
