Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Per Diem Delivery Driver to transport flowers and support program transport needs. The role involves delivering arrangements, running errands, and assisting with shop tasks as needed.

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour; the schedule is flexible per program requirements. Candidates must have a High School diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Loads and transports flower arrangements to delivery sites as needed.
• Transports consumers to and from program and assists with transportation as needed.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings as determined by supervisor.
• Cooperates with licensee and department staff during inspections or inquiries.
• Performs additional tasks as assigned.

We are seeking aPer Diem Delivery Driverto work for ourVaseful Flowers and GiftsEnterprise in Princeton, NJ! The Delivery
Driver also transports consumers to and from program and acts as a stand in for program transportation as needed.

Starting pay is $15.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Loads and transports flowers arrangements to delivery sites, as indicated by business needs
• Performs any tasks needed by shop involving driving, including but not limited to bank visits, supply pick up or delivery and transportation of consumers to and from homes
• Attends staff meetings as determined by supervisor
• Attend any necessary trainings
• Must cooperate with the licensee and department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• The ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in a crisis situation
• The ability to interact with a wide range of people
• Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with consumers
• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Working Conditions

• Employee travels utilizing your own vehicle or company provided vehicles
• Frequent lifting, stretching and other physical exertion
• May occasionally assist with wheelchair transfer of non-ambulatory consumers
• May be exposed to various medical conditions and communicable diseases
• Will be exposed to various plants and pollens
• Flexible schedule as determined by supervisor
