DELIVERY DRIVER

Department: Logistics

Location: Lakewood, WA

Position Status: Full Time, Hourly

Position Location: Onsite

Salary: $22 - $26 Depending on Experience

About The Position

We are seeking a Delivery Driver who will also support our logistics team with receiving duties. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers while assisting in the receiving and storage of incoming shipments.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers.
• Verify delivery instructions, address, and contact information for each order.
• Load, unload, and secure items for transport.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and obtain delivery confirmations/signatures.
• Inspect vehicles daily and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Assist with unloading incoming shipments.
• Transport paper and materials to designated work areas as needed to support production.
• Maintain accurate and organized inventory of materials and supplies.
• Ensure the work area remains clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
  
  

Education

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  

Related Experience

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Experience in delivery and/or warehouse operations preferred
• Forklift certification a plus
  
  

Required Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Familiarity with warehouse equipment
• Good time management skills

Physical Demands

• Frequent reaching, bending, pulling, and stooping
