Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice is seeking an experienced CDL-A Delivery Driver to operate day routes in Indianapolis, IN. You will deliver products to customer locations, unload manually, verify deliveries, collect payments when required, and maintain a high level of customer service.

Anticipated start date: October 2026. Compensation includes excellent pay with driver-component earnings, typically between $75,000 and $85,000+ per year, varying by route and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CDL-A driving experience (foodservice delivery preferred).
• 21+ years of age.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen.
• Background check free from felonies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer locations meeting scheduled delivery times.
• Manually unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler and place it neatly in designated storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain proper signatures.
• Collect customer payments when required.
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance the client experience.
• Safely and efficiently operate commercial motor vehicles in urban, suburban and rural areas.
• Lift, push or move products that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs.
• Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.
• Perform all work within Company safety practices.

Van Eerden Foodservice is seeking an experienced and dependable CDL-A Driver to work at our new drop yard location in Indianapolis, Indiana. We anticipate to start operating out of the new yard starting in October of this year. Our drivers are the face of Van Eerden and strive to effectively deliver product on-time to our customers, with the highest level of customer service. If you are a self-motivated professional who is comfortable working independently, with a passion for the food business and providing a great customer experience, we’d love to have you join our Team!

Pay:

Excellent pay – component pay for drivetime, cases, and stops. On average our drivers earn between $75,000 - $85,000+. Salary varies by route type, business conditions, and each driver’s work ethic.

Schedule

Day Routes that depart and return to Indianapolis, Indiana.
