Best-One Tire & Service at our Post Road location in Indianapolis is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to safely deliver orders, load and unload, and provide excellent customer service.

Full-Time earnings start at $20/hr+. The job offers consistent Sunday home time, paid holidays, health insurance, a 401(k) match, and a company-wide commitment to a career, not just a job.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history.
• Must be able to obtain at DOT medical card.
• Ability to pass a state Department of Transportation medical exam.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Some distribution supply experience preferred.
• Some computer skills preferred, data entry skills a plus.
• Commitment to service beyond the expectations of our customers.
• Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• Ability to consistently follow store policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and complete instructions.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment
• Lifting: Frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck less than 26,000 pounds. (CDL not required)
• Picking up, driving, delivering and unloading per daily designated routes.
• Customer service – deliver product, unload product, accept payments, record check # or other payment method on invoice, take customer complaints.
• Monitor the need for maintenance or major repairs by completing the Pre & Post Trip Inspection checklist for each trip.
• Maintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with company operational policies, procedures, and standards.
• Interface with shipping and receiving personnel to ensure timely deliveries, including pulling orders, receiving and putting away product.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do As a Delivery Driver
