Job summary

HUNGRY Marketplace is seeking delivery drivers for a large-scale catering gig in the Houston area. Ideal candidates have experience operating a 26ft truck, strong food-safety knowledge, and excellent customer service to load, transport, and unload catering supplies for our client's event. Orientation dates are November 2 (virtual) and November 6 (on-site).

Gig delivery dates are November 10, 12, 17, 19, and 21, with shifts from 8am to 8pm. Compensation is $240 per day (~$20/hr).

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license required.
• Auto insurance required.
• Must pass MVR/BG check.
• 18+ years of age; authorized to work in the US.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with 26ft trucks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport and unload catering supplies.
• Operate a 26ft rental truck safely and efficiently.

The Gig:

• HUNGRY is hosting a large scale catering gig for a client in the Houston area. We are seeking delivery drivers with experience operating 26ft trucks, a strong understanding of food safety, and customer service skills. Gig drivers will assist with loading, transport, and unloading of food and catering supplies for our client's event.
• We specifically need drivers available on the Orientation and Gig dates below
• Deliveries will last approximately 12 hours on delivery dates below
• Orientations:
  • November 2nd (virtual) & November 6th (on-site)
• Gig Delivery Dates:
  • November 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th, and 21st
  • High priority for drivers available on these dates
• Hours:
  • 8am-8pm
  • Seeking drivers who are available for the entire 12 hour shift (8am-8pm)
• Pay:
  • Daily payout for 8am-8pm shift: $240.00
  • Equivalent to approximately $20/hr
• Comfortable loading, driving, and unloading a 26ft truck
• Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance, & ability to pass MVR/BG check
• Strategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY team
• Operate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Effective communication to ensure that all elements of the event/delivery are executed.
• High level attention to detail and outgoing personality
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during events
• Operate a 26ft rental truck
• Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance, & ability to pass MVR/BG check
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• 18+ years of age.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Engaging, energetic, and customer-oriented.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Food service, catering, or event experience is a plus.

Compensation:

• Daily payout for 8am-8pm shift: $240.00
• Equivalent to approximately $20/hr
