The Propane Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. This role involves operating bulk delivery vehicles, conducting safety checks, maintaining delivery records, and providing excellent customer service while adhering to company and DOT regulations.
Ability to lift, pull, and carry hoses up to 75 pounds, stand, walk, bend, and climb. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Primarily field-based, operating in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Exposure to propane vapors, pressurized systems, and outdoor elements. Requires on-call, overtime, or weekend work during peak seasons.
Bulk propane delivery truck, hoses, meters, hand tools, leak detectors, & mobile devices.
The Propane Delivery Driver reports directly to the District Manager. This position does not typically supervise other staff.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of commercial driving experience recommended, preferably in propane or fuel delivery.
Valid CDL with hazmat, air brakes, and tanker endorsements required. CETP certification preferred.
