Job Summary

Supports the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse in providing delivery and warehouse services. Provides delivery of materials to customer sites or branch locations. Performs regular vehicle maintenance and schedules mandated inspections. Maintains a clean vehicle, logs, and inspection reports. Completes truck summaries, driver logs, and other details daily. Loads/unloads materials and provides excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Delivers materials to branches and customer sites based on needs.
• Maintains vehicle condition, monitors maintenance and mileage.
• Performs regular vehicle cleaning and maintenance.
• Schedules mandated inspections.
• Maintains driver logs and inspection sheets.
• Completes daily truck summaries and logs, manages expenses.
• Adheres to traffic and safety regulations.
• Knows truck routes and coordinates deliveries.
• Loads and unloads materials.
• Performs warehouse duties as needed.

Non-essential Functions

• Assists with other duties as assigned.
• May conduct Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
• Checks and packs deliveries.
• Maintains shipping equipment and work area.
• Supports customer service functions in the City Desk and Will Call areas.

Qualifications

• Two years of work experience preferred.
• Warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Current medical certification required.
• Clean driving record essential.
• Knowledge of PC, Internet, SAP is a plus.
