Job summary

Apple Farm Service Inc. is seeking a team player to fill the position of Delivery Driver in Covington, Ohio.

You will be responsible for timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, review orders, load and unload trucks, and provide exceptional customer service. We will provide training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn, with a family-oriented culture that values customer satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as Delivery Driver.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass company driving test, background check and drug test.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
• Pack and load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
• Unload goods as per client specifications
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer

Description

Apple Farm Service Inc. is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. We will provide training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn.

Delivery Driver responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
• Pack and load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications
• Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
• Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
• Unload goods as per client specifications
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL

Pay:

• Pay based on experience and work ethic.
• Time and a half paid for any hours worked over 40 hr/wk.
• Raises offered based on performance and time spent within the company
