US Foods in Coralville, IA is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver for a local route with early start times (3 AM – 6 AM). You will safely navigate highways and city streets, unload 100% touch freight, verify deliveries with customers, and provide professional service to our customers.

This full-time position offers benefits from Day One, a $10,000 retention bonus for eligible new hires, and overtime opportunities.

The CDL A Delivery Driver role goes beyond simply transporting goods - it’s about perfecting the craft of delivery, earning trust mile by mile, and serving as a vital link to our customers.**Key Responsibilities*** **Safe Driving:** Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner.* **Unloading:** Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas **– 100% touch freight.*** **Delivery Verification:** Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures.* **Customer Service:** Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.* **Equipment Inspection:** Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.* **Account Management:** Handle collections and payments when applicable.* **Adaptability:** All other duties assigned by management. **Physical Requirements*** Lift/carry/push/pull/lower 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required.* Driving & working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required.* Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as low as 0 degrees.* Continuously grasp objects & manipulate objects.
